By purchasing from the site, you agree to the terms and conditions regarding the production, dispatch, delivery, returns, exchanges and refunds for items, as stated on this page.
Made to order items
Many of the items sold on this site are made to order. This means that the item will be produced only once your order has been placed and payment has been received. Production timeframes for these items vary, depending on the size and complexity of the item, the quantity ordered, the quantity of orders already in the production queue, whether materials used to make these items need to be ordered from suppliers, and whether the item needs to be hallmarked by the Assay Office. Some made to order items are not eligible for return or exchange, as stated in the terms on this page.
Production times
Production timeframes for items sold on this site vary, depending on the size and complexity of the item, the quantity ordered, the quantity of orders already in the production queue, whether materials used to make these items need to be ordered from suppliers, and whether the item needs to be hallmarked by the Assay Office. Estimated timeframes are stated on individual item pages. These timeframes are not guaranteed and are subject to change.
Dispatch times
Dispatch times for orders placed on this site vary depending on the item(s) purchased. Estimated dispatch times are given on each individual item page. Dispatch times are not guaranteed and are subject to change. If ordering multiple items with different production and dispatch times, your items may be dispatched in one parcel, once all items are completed, so the dispatch time for the order will be that of whichever item has the longest production or dispatch time.
Delivery
The delivery method used for your order will depend on the total size, weight and value of your order. Most orders are sent via Royal Mail. Typically I use Royal Mail 24 or Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm. Delivery timeframes for these services are not guaranteed. I do not accept responsibility for delays in the delivery of orders. If you order more than one item, these may be sent in multiple parcels. If you place an order whilst a prior order is not yet dispatched, the two orders may be combined in one parcel.
Refunds
To be eligible for refund, items sold on this site must meet the criteria stated in the Returns, Faulty items and/or Undelivered orders sections on this page.
Returned items will be inspected before any refund or exchange is agreed. Any evidence of the item being deliberately or accidentally damaged by the customer will void the return, exchange or refund agreement.
Returns
I accept returns for some items sold on this site. Individual item pages state whether or not items can be returned.
Circumstances in which items can’t be returned are:
Items sold as piercing jewellery can’t be returned for hygiene reasons. These items are legally excluded from distance selling regulations. This excludes faulty or damaged jewellery.
Made to order items are legally excluded from distance selling regulations. However, at my discretion I accept returns on some made to order items; this information is stated on individual item pages. This excludes faulty or damaged jewellery.
Customised items are are not eligible for return and are legally excluded from distance selling regulations. This excludes faulty or damaged jewellery.
Bespoke orders are are not eligible for return and are legally excluded from distance selling regulations. This excludes faulty or damaged jewellery.
Items have been worn (other than to try on the item for fit).
Items have been modified by the customer or by a third-party, for example adjustments in size or fit.
A return request is made after the returns deadline.
A return is requested due to a delay in the delivery of the order, for which I am not responsible.

To be eligible for return, the following criteria must be met:
Items must be returned within 14 days of the receipt of the item(s).
Items must be returned in the original packaging.
Items must be returned unworn (other than to try on the item for fit).

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items, unless otherwise agreed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are appropriately packaged.
The responsibility for the returned item(s) lies with the customer, until I have received it. The customer is responsible for any damage or delay to the item on its return journey.

Exchanges
Exchanges are offered on some items, for example, rings which are eligible for return may instead be exchanged for a different ring size of the same design. Items may be exchanged if they meet the returns criteria stated on this page.
Replacements will be dispatched only once the original item has been returned to me. Production, dispatch and delivery terms stated on this page apply to replacement items.

Cancellations
Made to order items can’t be cancelled once payment has been received by default, but in some circumstances I may accept a request to cancel or amend an order, at my discretion. Ready to ship items can be cancelled up until dispatch. Under distance selling regulations, you have a legal right to cancel an eligible order within 14 days of receiving the item, which can be returned in a condition suitable for resale, at your expense, for a refund – this excludes all piercing jewellery and made to order items.
Faulty items
If you receive an item which is faulty or has been damaged in transit, you must inform me within 7 days of delivery of the item, to be eligible for a refund or replacement.
You must also provide photographic evidence of the fault or damage of the item within this timeframe. In some circumstances, you may be required to return the item for inspection, at my discretion. In these circumstances, items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Delayed & undelivered orders
Most orders are sent via a tracked delivery service. In the event that your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, you must inform me within 7 days of the latest expected delivery date. In some cases you might then be requested to allow extra delivery time, for example if the delay is due to industrial action within the delivery company, or adverse weather. I don’t accept responsibility for delays in deliveries, and delivery times are subject to change. If your order has still not been delivered after this time, you will be eligible for a replacement for the item. You must be willing to sign a form stating that you have not received your order, which will be passed on to the delivery company. Production, dispatch and delivery terms stated on this page apply to replacement items.
